- Yes, it's a privilege if you can afford to stay at home. We have a 3 yr old boy and 17 month old twin girls (big shock). I VALUE my kids and I enjoy it, but it is hard. It can get stressful at times. I worked part time to work around my husbands schedule and now I'm going back full time.
